Abaeté EMB-110 Bandeirante Take Off
Abaeté is originally a Brazilian air taxi that was founded in 1979. In 1995, Abaeté Aerotaxi founded the "Abaeté Linhas Aéreas", an airline company to meet the demand of few small and medium towns in the Bahia State for regular flights. Today, the airline has flights in only three cities: Salvador, Bom Jesus da Lapa, and Guanambi.

Varig 737-7EA Landing
Varig has been the larggest Brazilian airline until about 10 years ago. After 2000, this airline had several finantial problems and almost died. Today, Varig belongs to Gol Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes, the second largest Brazilian airline.
